In 2005, TEC, Inc. was hired by the City of Texarkana, TX to construct a new road to connect the I-30 frontage road to the existing Pleasant Grove Road. This road is now known as University Avenue and serves as a direct connector between I-30 and the new Bringle Lake Campus of Texas A&M University - Texarkana. The project was completed in late 2005 at a cost of $1.67 million.
