In June 2007, TEC, Inc. was awarded a $5.5 million contract by the City of Texarkana, TX to construct a new four-lane avenue which would serve as the main thoroughfare into the newly constructed campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana.
This complex project included sections of street reconstruction along with new-location street construction. Key features included over one mile of storm drainage pipe & box culverts, water & sewer utilities, 25,000+ SF of retaining walls, concrete paving and decorative brick pavers.
The new street stretches approximately one mile in length and was completed in just under a year.
