TEC, Inc. has been contracted to perform site preparation for the new Holiday Springs Water Park in Texarkana, Arkansas. Construction began on November 28 and the water park is scheduled to be open in the Spring of 2013. The park is located in the Crossroads Development near I-30 and Stateline Avenue next to the new Holiday Inn - Convention Center. Plans for the new attraction include 10 slides (including tube slides and body slides), a kids’ pool, an adult lagoon, five amusement rides, a wave pool, splash pads, an outdoor water theater, and a “lazy river.”

“It’s going to be a very good tourism spot for Texarkana,” said Dr. Hiren Patel of Texarkana Hotels LLC, the company behind the venture
